We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our high achieving and committed English department. The post is temporary to cover maternity leave with effect from 29th October 2018. The salary will be paid on the teachers’ main pay scale.

St Monica’s is an over-subscribed and highly successful voluntary aided 11-16 mixed Catholic Comprehensive school set in a leafy northern suburb of Manchester, yet is only fifteen minutes from the town centre.

In 2018, 71.4% of our students gained 5+ 9-4/A*-C including English and Maths. In English, 85.4% of our students achieved 9-4.
