2016 Results

Mrs Andrea Letcher, Head Teacher of St. Monica’s R.C High School and 6th Form Centre said that following the excellent sixth form results last week the school is delighted with the GCSE results. 75 % of pupils gained 5 A* -C and 64% including English and Maths. Fifteen students gained nine or more A* / A. 100% gained 5 GCSE’s.

Attainment and progress were especially strong in English, Sciences, Languages, Humanities as well as ICT, Performing Arts, Art & Music.
“Congratulations to our pupils who have worked hard to secure academic success in their GCSE exams. These results are a reflection of their commitment to their studies to achieve highly.

I am delighted that they can now progress confidently on to the next stage of their lives and into their chosen college courses, apprenticeships or employment.

I congratulate the teaching and support staff for their dedication, the quality of their teaching, targeted interventions and guidance.
